The BBC has suspended regular programming, the entire family (including Harry) is heading for Balmoral, and her doctors are “concerned for her majesty’s health”.

I doubt there are many who will read this who remember a British monarch other than Elizabeth II. This is the end of an era.

God save the Queen.

I wonder if Charles will simply abdicate to William.
