Happy Friday! This week has been better than last week, and while the house is still too quiet, we are looking forward to getting a new kitten by the end of the month. My mom already sent a first ‘grandma’ present.. a bunch of kitty toys and a tunnel. We have some things we intend to purchase before arrival as well, including a pet playpen. That way if I have a bad day I can corral the kitten and not be trying to chase her all over the house when I can’t walk well. It will also give us an outdoor option for if the power is out an extended time (like after a hurricane) and it gets really hot in the house.
So today we’re going to try to lift everyone’s mood a bit with some music. Enjoy what suits you, skip what doesn’t. I’ve tried to include a variety.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

One of my favorite cover artists performing a song that I love by Shakira.
Dark Sarah is one of my favorite modern singers. I own her first three albums on CD. Her music tells a story. A little back ground on the next video. In the previous album, while trying to win her way free of a dungeon, she romanced and then stole from a Dragon (Dance with the Dragon). In Trespasser, the Dragon seeks her out again. The choreography for this song is wonderful.
Something a little silly, but they put on a wonderful show.
Neal Patrick Harris and James Corden in a Broadway Riff Off. Need I say more?
Comedic music on the fly. This one is relatively clean, had to hunt for one that wasn't too not safe for work LOL. This is one of my son's favorite shows. Who’s Line helped him understand humor and learn to use it appropriately.. mostly.
