Senator Toomey has the gall to criticize Fetterman? Really??? [1]

Senator Pat Toomey (R-Retire already!) is trying to troll Pennsylvania Lt. Gov John Fetterman for not yet agreeing to a debate with carpetbagging Memhet Oz (MAGA-New Jersey) in the race to succeed Toomey. Saying that the ability to communicate is “just the essence of the job”, and implying unless Fetterman agrees to debate Oz, that Fetterman is just not up to the task.
x At a Philadelphia news conference this morning, Sen. Pat Toomey alongside Dr. Oz says Fetterman "sits at home and does social media all day" while dodging debates.

This is just so rich, coming from Toomey, who hasn’t held an in-person town hall in Philadelphia, the largest city in the state he represents, since 2017. That very same Pat Toomey who inspired the Tuesdays With Toomey brigade, who protested outside of his Philly office every week in rain, heat and snow for YEARS begging him in vain to do a town hall here.
Talk about dodging your responsibilities!!! Meeting with your constituents is also the “essence of the job”, but Pat certainly wasn’t willing to do that. Pat, whose face has been emblazoned on missing posters and milk cartons for almost 6 years, thinks he can shame Lt. Gov Fetterman about showing up to do anything? Nah, Pat, we’re not listening to you.
You may also recall Pat’s recent master class of a self-own when he convinced his Senate MAGApublican counterparts that they should vote against the veterans’ health bill that they had already approved overwhelmingly. His antics earned his caucus a huge black eye this summer, and may have tipped the military vote against Republicans for a generation.
It seems pretty clear that Memhet Oz knows how poorly his campaign is going, and attacking Fetterman’s health is his only path to victory. And he is using the debates as the way to do it. And he thinks No-Show Toomey is the way to get that point across.
By all means friends, if you see Pat Toomey, feel free to let him know he is seen for who he is.
