I get by with a little help from my friends [1]

Since the beginning of the pandemic my senior year of high school, my closest friends and I began watching movies through Zoom. Thus the name “Movie Party” came to action. The same group of us seen pictured above held a campfire in my backyard as we launched my ActBlue Link and refreshed every few minutes eagerly awaiting positive results. After that night we realized that what we were doing was real. This team is the reason I have a website, they are the reason I still have enough motivation in this race to fill a swimming pool, and I am forever grateful for the work they are willing to put in to help reach out to voters in our district.

This week I also found a new group of politically active folks that I hope leads to great things.

A group of gen-z candidates from an ever-growing amount of states have started to come together. The very concept gets me excited for what is to come in these upcoming elections, and actually taking part and hearing from candidates like Sam Lawrence in Ohio and Maxwell Alejandro Frost in Florida only confirm what I knew about the merit/grit of these young candidates. I am honored to be a part of this expanding movement. We have already discussed ways to expand our outreach and get more people under the age of 25 running for office. Our set goal is at least one in every state (so if you have anyone in mind send them our way (; ).

We are 9 weeks out from the midterm congressional elections and I would also like to give a moment to shoutout the congressional candidate who encompasses my district. Congresswomen Elaine Luria (VA-02) is a fighter for our district and is a big reason I started my run in VA98.
