Came up with my own limerick after dredging through the latest headlines:
There once was a rude man named Trump,
Who dragged democracy thru the dump.
When they called him to justice,
His response was not "Not us!"
Will the law ever nail this chump!?
And then while I was at it, another for my congress-critter, Elise Stefanik:
A congresswoman named Elise,
Decided Trump's base she would please.
Turned her back to the truth,
And without any proof,
Claimed "Elections are rigged - vote for me!"
That’s all for now, it does help my mood to poke fun at these deplorables!
If they manage to take us to hell in a hand-basket we may as well be laughing.
