This is an interesting AP News article...apparently, the FBI has searched two properties in New York and one in Miami “linked to” Viktor Vekselberg, a “close ally” of Putin.

In the photo above, we can see Federal agents carting boxes of documents out of Vekselberg’s Park Avenue property.

From the AP article: “A federal task force has been looking into Russian oligarchs and the money trail that helps fuel Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, and the task force is working to enforce U.S. financial restrictions imposed on Russia and its billionaires. A spokesperson for the task force declined to comment.”

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that the FBI has seized boxes of documents recently from another known friend and associate of Vladimir Putin.

It will be interesting to see if any connection develops between these two recent FBI searches. DHS was also involved in the Vekselberg searches.

I have a feeling we have only seen the tip of the iceberg in the Trump espionage case.
