No. Stop asking us to "unify." Stop saying Trump should not be indicted. Stop enabling harm. [1]

Like any other citizen who has broken the law of course Trump should be indicted, brought to trial, convicted, and sent to prison. So should his co-conspirators. Who the hell are the people saying we shouldn’t? The usual?

Those who take away women’s rights to their own bodies and lives?

Those who attack our sacred voting rights?

Those in media who tried their damndest to normalize the right wing, GOP, and Trump?

Those who have temper tantrums and threaten violence when they don’t get their way?

Those who deny climate change as the world simultaneously burns and floods?

Those who fought against vaccines and masks while threatening our health care professionals — condemning hundreds of thousands to suffering and death?

Those who ban books they’ve never read while attacking librarians and teachers?

Those who attack public education while taking our tax dollars for their private schools?

Those who will not do the bare minimum to save our children from being shot to death?

Those who terrorize our LGBTQ children and community?

Those who leave communities and states without electricity and water?

Those who storm the Capital of the United States to overturn a legal election?

Those who savagely beat Capital and Metropolitan DC police?

Those who remained silent when some of those same officers died?

Those who ignore the dog whistles and calls for violence?

Those who constantly lie yet demand unaccountability?

Those who are twisted beyond sanity and decency?

No. Not happening. We will never make nice with such as those.

The ones who have done the above are not trustworthy by any stretch of the imagination. Their judgement is profoundly flawed and immoral, driven by hubris and fear. They have cost us far too much and it stops now.

They are a danger to all of us, to our country, and the world.

I use the block function on such people — on line and in real life. I don’t make nice with bullies, abusers, and betrayers.

Those who are asking us to do so?

Go F….K Yourselves.

We deserve better. Our children deserve better. Our communities deserve better. The country deserves better. We deserve joy. We deserve peace of mind. We deserve security. We deserve hope.

We’re going to do everything to make that a reality. We are taking our country back.
