Read the results of the Goucher College poll of Maryland general election voters [1]

Goucher College Poll, in partnership with The Baltimore Banner and WYPR, polled Maryland voters about who they would vote for in the Nov. 8 general election and what issues were important to them, including crime, the economy, education and more.
The poll contacted 1,008 Marylanders age 18 or older by landline and cellphone from September 8-12. The survey has a margin of error of 3.1%. Additionally, 748 respondents were identified as likely voters and asked for their candidate preferences in the upcoming statewide general election contests. The likely voter samples have a margin of error of 3.5%.
The poll was funded and co-sponsored by the Sarah T. Hughes Center for Politics at Goucher College, The Baltimore Banner and WYPR.
