Farm Bureau sitting out attorney general’s race [1]

The Kansas Farm Bureau is not planning to make any endorsement in the race for attorney general between Republican Kris Kobach and Democrat Chris Mann after sitting out the Republican primary.

Ryan Flickner, the Farm Bureau's senior director of advocacy, said the group's endorsements are based on input the state organization receives from county farm bureaus.

"There was just no conclusive or no real feedback from the counties on endorsing any candidate, that even goes back to the primary," Flickner said.

"We've asked our counties again and still no real desire to engage in the attorney general . . .
