Is it just me, or is it the media? [1]

With all the breaking news showing every day that what we’ve been hearing about TFG is only getting worse, I really have to wonder what it is with the media compulsion to talk around the situation.
I mean, just about those documents at Mar-a-Lago:
He was never supposed to have taken them.
He didn't bother to secure them.
He had no way to legitimately declassify them after he left office.
Any claim to executive privilege ended when Biden was sworn in.
They are, by reports, incredibly sensitive information that could cost lives if they are seen by the wrong people. (And that may have happened.)
There’s no plausible innocent explanation why he might have even thought he had a right to them.
They lied about what they had, they moved stuff around, they refused to cooperate for months.
The more we learn, the worse it gets.
So I watch the evening news where they report on all this and they keep talking about having the FBI execute a search warrant on a former president is “unprecedented”. My reaction is everything the Gobshite did for four years in the White House was unprecedented. What is their problem?
They dither over whether or not the Department of Justice will bring charges — or even if a crime was really committed. (Here’s a clue — yes, yes this is what criminal behavior looks like.)
It’s like TFG has the ability to make the media forget all of the previous scandals, bad behavior, two impeachments, inciting January 6, and other atrocities simply by creating some new horror.
They keep acting surprised.
They shouldn’t be.
He spent four years showing us who he was every day. He hasn't gotten better.
