It is becoming more evident each passing day that President Trump was a grave risk to our freedom, democracy, and national security. Now it seems he may have wanted to reveal our spies, informants, and intelligence methods to our enemies. The damage may have already been done, since it is not known what persons have seen the top secret documents recovered from Trump's basement. The FBI will try to use fingerprints and surveillance cameras to find out. Presumably the compromised persons have already fled or gone into hiding to avoid torture and murder at the direction of Putin and other inhuman monsters (if not already too late).
For what purpose did Trump steal the documents? Money? Leverage to get a foreign safe harbor to avoid prison? I hope the true history will come out during my lifetime. If there is any justice, Trump will die in prison.
A less malign interpretation is possible: Trump wanted to keep the documents simply because of his narcissism: everything belongs to him, or should belong.
How long will Trump's (R) enablers remain true? How long will the MAGA mob remain true? How wide and deep is the evil and stupidity? Is our nation terminally ill?
