About an hour ago, Federal Magistrate Judge Bruce E. Reinhardt ordered the release of a redacted version of the affidavit giving probable cause for the FBI to search Mar-A-Lago on August 8th.

Redacted from public disclosure are 1) the identities of witnesses, law enforcement agents, and uncharged parties, (2) the investigation’s strategy, direction, scope, sources, and methods, and (3) grand jury information protected by the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.

The government must make the redacted Affidavit available to the public by or before noon tomorrow.
