The well regulated militia enthusiast who thought it was perfectly reasonable to pull a gun on a kid for skateboarding has been identified and charges (aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm on school grounds) are being evaluated.
Police have submitted charges for review against a man who reportedly pointed a gun at a skateboarder on August 13 at a Gilbert school. The incident happened near Lindsay and Guadalupe roads. Gilbert police say 68-year-old Bernardo Aillon allegedly drove up to the male skateboarder who was skating on a handrail. Video of the incident was recorded and went viral Thursday, showing Aillon allegedly walking toward the skateboarder and pulling a handgun from his waist, telling the skateboarder to leave.
So apparently this fellow owns a lawn service in the Gilbert, AZ area, and the efforts to publicize the video helped to identify him. The police interviewed him after talking with several witnesses and believe these charges are appropriate. His firearm was seized.
According to my sources he is a registered Republican, (grab the oxygen mask to deal with your shock,) and his Facebook page has his posts wiped clean, but says his likes are a mortgage broker, a realtor, and Trojan Condoms. Facebook likes have rudimentary sort by category functionality, so they do a great job of making anyone look like a lunatic out of context.
Personally, I don’t know why a person would physically go to a Facebook page for a condom manufacturer, peruse its offerings, and click “Like.” Because here is what happened when he did that:
His 104 friends likely got a notification on their feed that said their friend Bernardo likes Trojan Condoms. One time I clicked like on a friend’s page and it showed up on all my other friend’s feeds.
Imagine the awkward Facebook moments people have suffered.
“I am starting a chicken farm in Paraguay, will you like my page?”
“Sure.”
Minutes later, the guy’s wife DM’s him wondering why Paula’s Paraguay Poultry Paradise is so important to him.
At any rate, our 2022 nominee for the “Get off our Lawn” award has been selected, and if he is chosen by The Claw News, will win a plastic trophy in the shape of a skateboard.
