Recently a 10-year-old rape victim from Ohio famously had to be taken to Indiana for an abortion. Ohio law would have forced her to have her rapist's baby.



Ghastly as that law is, the Governor, Lt. Governor, the Secretary of State and every Ohio Republican legislator supports it. They have to, because if they took a sane position on such a horrific crime and would allow her abortion, they would be tacitly admitting that some 'murders' are acceptable.



Or more problematic for them, it would be an admission that abortion isn’t murder. And if that is the case, the state has no more business meddling in who gets an abortion than who gets a nose job.
