I voted for the guy behind Nadler.

Hot town, summer in the city, and all that political jazz. Democrats in NYC are not making it very nice to be in the media market at this time.

This may seem like a quality of life issue that I should just get over, but seeing the sleazy campaign ads by people I respect 24/7 in my safe media spaces is not inconsequential. I like these people, but a few of them will most definitely lose their elected jobs.

I get that Democrats truly blew the redistricting thing. I get that some people in Congress now do not want to lose their jobs after this Tuesday’s primary.

But lying in campaign ads is never a good thing. We expect it from opposing parties. Not from each other.

It stinks of desperation. If it comes from within the way to go is just to flat out say you can’t stand the other person, or that you really, really want the job.

You don’t just make shit up. No one benefits. At least no one in our party.

I’m getting the sense that no one here has blogged about it to keep the peace.

So I won’t mention any names. Get out and vote, and prepare to get over yourselves if your candidate loses.

It’s urgent that we annihilate the GOP, not lick wounds, immediately afterwards. Deal?
