Weren’t we just saying it was the first show of August, or whatever?
Well, this may end up being the last live Thursday show of August.
Wow! Time really flies when you’re executing search warrants on Perv-A-Lago!
Now, why might it be the last live Thursday show of August? Well, this is the only Thursday left in August that isn’t my birthday, for one thing. But that’s no big deal. And besides, there’s no better way to mark the day by starting it with a breakfast conversation with Greg Dworkin, as we’ll do today.
The real reason is that this is also the last Thursday of August when the public schools won’t be in session. And this year, there’s a strong chance that that’ll cause some of the production staff to miss the bus.
Of course, the chances are just as great that he’ll miss the bus any/every other day, as well. But it’s speculated that the odds are greater on Day 1.
And what a birthday treat that would be!
Anyway, we’ll see. I may receive adequate assurances that the bus situation is under control in the week between now and then.
And Donald Trump might have confessed to his treason before next week, too. Anything could happen!
