“Burn baby burn” says the climate vandal.

Scientists have been writing about the effects of burning fossil fuels on the climate for over 100 years. James Hansen made sure that no one could claim they didn't know about it in 1988. At this point, climate change denial is just gaslighting, and after years of Trump we're all familiar with gaslighting.

There's no point in pretending that people who take actions that accelerate climate change aren't vandals who are knowingly causing harm. The fascists do it because they know that fascists are unpopular in good times, but if they can create mayhem they have a shot at gaining control. Others like “owning the libs”, or just enjoy seeing suffering, or are greedy. Regardless of their reasons, the result is the same: destruction.

We should stop being nice, and make it clear that we know what they're up to. It's time to use more descriptive terms for them, and my suggestion is “climate vandals”. If you have another name for them, please comment!
