Obama would be a great "Debunker in Chief" to counter "Documentgate" spin [1]

In the five days since the FBI swooped in to nail TFG with his tiny hands full of unauthorized highly classified documents, the spin coming out Mar-a-Lardo and his supporters has been nonstop:

Camp TFG “Documentgate” Spin: “The only documents TFG took were family photos and coupon clippings”

“Why won’t the DOJ release the warrant (that TFG has and can release at any time)??”,

”TFG installed a declassification portal in the Oval Office exit door”

“The FBI planted the evidence right in front of TFG’s lawyer (who wasn’t there) and his surveillance cameras (that were turned off)”

Rational, informed people will, of course, see right through this nonsense. Conversely, diehard MAGA types (the lost deplorables) will believe it unconditionally, and nothing could ever change that — not even TFG gunning down someone in the middle of 5th Ave.

But there are some more reasonable supporters of the Slob Father, very many I think, that could be immunized from the endless propaganda Republicans are spinning in defense of TFG. With the right spokesman to lead the anti-disinformation messaging, these supporters might be brought over from the dark side into the light. The spokesman can’t be Biden or Garland, as their hands are tied procedurally and politically, nor can most sitting Democratic leaders fit the bill due to partisan perception. It needs to be someone articulate, with a down to earth style and favorably viewed by most Americans. This is a job for Barack Obama!

Bill Clinton was dubbed the “Explainer in Chief’ for his ability to simplify things in a way most people can understand, but I think Obama is even more accomplished in that arena. His folksy, guy next door style resonates with most average Americans, and his calm, intelligent, humorous demeanor reveals by contrast what a babbling lunatic the Orange Absconder is.

Here’s hoping our last true president hits the late night circuits, etc, and helps us all, including a lot off redeemable TFG supporters, to laugh off the preposterous claims in defense of TFG that will be coming at us relentlessly for a while.
