I grew up playing piano from the time I was six years old. My first piano teacher was my paternal grandmother. So, I played a lot of classical pieces that had no words. When I was in sixth grade, I was promoted from beginning band to advanced band and played percussion. That led me to my desire to master one of the all time great drum solos. My selection for tonight is “Wipeout” by the Surfaris
