The President's Daily Briefing - a leather bound volume full of secret stuff

While he was president, Donald J. Trump was notorious for not reading or paying attention to his daily briefing www.cbsnews.com/.... So it may be surprising that when he left the White House he chose to take one of his daily briefing volumes, but based on the description of the articles seized by the FBI at Mar a Lago that may be the case.

As illustrated above from 2002, the President’s Daily Briefing en.wikipedia.org/...is compiled in a leather bound volume and the FBI list of documents seized at MAL describes a leather bound volume containing secret documents. This is informed speculation of course, but I think the FBI now has a PDB that Trump wanted.

If Trump at the very end of his presidency wanted to keep a PDB — which briefing do you suppose he wanted to keep? I don’t suppose he wanted it as a memento. I’m sure he took plenty of those. I suspect that there was information in at least one of his daily briefings that was particularly damaging to him. Maybe there is information that implicates him in the ‘Russia’ thing or maybe in the Jan 6 attack on the US Capitol. There are many many possibilities — but it looks like the FBI may now have some some information that is highly sensitive, stuff that Trump didn’t want anyone else to ever see. What could that be about?

(In preparing this diary, I relied on a news report describing a leather bound volume containing various classified top secret and SCI documents — however the FBI inventory refers to item 2 as a leather bound box www.pbs.org/...)
