Apparently engaging in violent anti-law-enforcement rhetoric against the FBI has effects and consequences. From the Cincinnati Enquirer (h/t cincinnatikid1):
I-71 closed in Clinton County following attempted break-in at FBI field office
The Clinton County Emergency Management Agency said law enforcement engaged in a firefight with a male in body armor who fled from an area FBI field office. In a tweet, the FBI said an armed subject attempted to breach the visitor screening facility at the bureau's field office in Cincinnati.
While the story is still unfolding and the gunman’s motives are certainly not clear, it is certainly a coincidence that this occurred after days of violent anti-FBI rhetoric from Republicans all the way up the ladder. Hopefully no casualties.
