Everyone is so happy about the victory in Kansas, but it will probably be the last.
Why, you say with two thirds of the population supporting reproductive rights? They don't care and they don't need to. Roe wouldn't have been overturned if they did.
Here in Indiana, they saw what happened in Kansas and just outlawed abortion without letting the populace vote on it.
Expect more of this. The GOP has majority local control in about 30 states. Thats state representatives, governor, state senate, state supreme court. Do you think they'll put it to popular vote? Do you think they'll let the popular vote in a presidential race stand in any of these states that goes against them?
We can't rely on majority opinion, we have to beat them.
Btw, this is my first political post, hopefully my last. I tend to keep my articles in draft awhile and revise them a lot. On politics, that makes my blood pressure rise and my head explode.
Why does my writing still suck then? Talent my friends, pure talent. Look upon my works ye mighty and despair.
