Breaking News: Kevin McCarthy is a Spineless Hypocrite [1]

On Jan 13, 2021, when heat was still emanating from the coals of public outrage in response to Jan 6th, House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy believed the contemporary wisdom that Trump was toast. He was certain enough of Trump’s demise to state on the House floor "The president bears responsibility for Wednesday's attack on Congress by mob rioters". Strong words, which appeared to set aside partisanship for the good of the country and democracy — an act that was highly out of character for McCarthy.

However, McCarthy didn’t anticipate the cult-like obsequiousness and ignorance of the MAGA sheep, nor the Rasputin-like ability of “grab ‘em by the pussy” Teflon Don to shed accountability once again. The Lyin’ King began to rise from the ashes, and McCarthy soon found himself doing a spectacular 180°, earning his title of leader by being unrivaled among his fellow toadies (McConnell, Graham, etc) in the shamelessness of his moves to return to the good graces of the Slob Father, including at least one degrading Mar-a-Lago pilgrimage.

So it’s no surprise that when the FBI today conducted a lawful search of Mar-a-Lardo’s Florida residence -- to investigate improprieties like those that McCarty himself acknowledged when Trump seemed powerless -- that the McCarthy immediately defended the now relevant Winnie the Coup, stating:

“I’ve seen enough. The Department of Justice has reached an intolerable state of weaponized politicization.. .When Republicans take back the House, we will conduct immediate oversight of this department, follow the facts, and leave no stone unturned...Attorney General Garland, preserve your documents and clear your calendar” — Kevin “Eugene” McCarthy

No, Kev, we’ve seen enough, of your clown show. Your BS may impress the MAGA imbeciles that you are counting on to pull off the coup you condemned a mere 18 months ago, but we see through your blatant nonsense, as will history, where your legacy will be summarized in one word: shitstain.

Yeah, this isn’t really news, sadly it’s an all to predictable occurrence of the Republican party reign-holders (sic) pathetic and transparent propaganda campaigns to try and destroy democracy in furtherance of their own power and gains. So get your asses, and the the asses of every reasonable person you know out to the polls in November, it may be the last stand!
