Happy Friday! We went for groceries on Tuesday, so today I get to stay home and rest. My leg is slowly improving I’m not needing as much meds during the day. Still need them at night, and waking up in pain about halfway through. I think because I’m not moving as much, so it stiffens up and swells. But, still, improving. I’m doing some gentle stretches and range of motion with it, and walking a bit more, while trying not to over-do things.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

Bit is supposed to get off at 11 today, we’ll see if it actually happens. It’s going to depend on if people call out (or just don’t show up) and how busy it actually is. They are trying to schedule her for less hours, about 8 hours of OT instead of 26. But a lot of the time she ends up staying till 3 or 4 anyway.
I splurged and got myself a new game. It was on sale for $5.99 on Steam (originally $19.99). It’s called “Depraved” and it’s an old west city builder game. I’m starting to get the hang of the basics. Pretty interesting, but a slow build. If you let your population build too fast, you end up starving people.
