BREAKING: Inflation Reduction Act to Hit Senate Floor [1]

The New Schumer - Manchin Bromance.

Sorry for the short post, but C-Span just announced that the Senate will convene on noon on Saturday to bring the Inflation Reduction Act (the Schumer-Manchin Deal on taxes, climate and health care) to the Senate Floor as a Budget Reconciliation Bill. The vote on Saturday to begin debate will be followed by a Vote-A-Rama on Sunday on multiple amendments with a possible vote on a final Bill on Monday morning. All amendments and the final Bill only need a simple majority to pass (50+VP).



So Schumer either has the 50 Dem. Votes he needs (including Sinema) or he’s rolling the dice. I sure hope it’s the former and not the latter. Anyway it will be must watch C-Span TV this weekend!
