Nonpolitical but I need information about Dental costs nationwide. [1]

I have recently gone to the dentist. It has been a long while. I’ve already spent a fortune on dental work. Like 1000s on root canals, fillings, and crowns of which I have so many I would like to be called ‘Highness.’ My teeth are crap, my kids don’t brush and take care of their teeth as well and neither has any tooth issues. Flouride.
I went back and now am told I need 28000 dollars worth of dental work, I’ve already spent about 5000 but the costs just keep going up.
No just NO!!! I don’t have that kind of money and if I did, I would buy a camper or something.
How much is an implant (of pain) usually??
How much is reasonable for a crown where they use a drill and make you squirm to prepare for it?
I just don’t know what to do. I found an “insurance” that is supposed to pay for cleanings and stuff but you have to just pay for it for a year before they will pay much of anything.
Am I just fucked? Medicare and my plan G pays for medical very nicely. For dental, you have to sell all your belongings or refi your house. Is there any reasonable solution? I asked about partial dentures and was told they are bad and “I wanted implants.” I am 68. No, I don’t.
