I bet those other two bunnies have their lives much more together than that one in the middle who's always running late! Right?!

As I mentioned last week, there’s a whole lot of busy going on here at Casa Brillig right now and I’m feeling like the White Rabbit, always late and running to the next thing. There’s a carload of K1’s stuff in our guest room from my trek to Rochester last week, and on Wednesday Mr. Brillig and I are headed up to bring the rest home… along with K1! We’ve managed to agree that we do not need a cargo van, so it’ll be two cars up and three cars back. Hopefully it will be a smooth process and we’ll all be settled in at the Casa by next Monday’s diary.

K2 had a good weekend in Maine playing a trio of soccer matches. They didn’t progress to finals but had fun and that’s what matters with your high school summer league, right? Mr. Brillig made the best of spending the day in the heat watching sweaty high schoolers play with a much-anticipated stop at the Maine Beer Company, where his favorite beer of all time (Lunch) is made. He always brings home a case of whatever you can ONLY get at the Barn/Tasting Room.

I’m a little short-worded today because (A) the pup needs an unscheduled vet visit for an ouchie on his paw; and (B) a friend is spending the night with us as he’s got an early flight tomorrow. We go back to the days when Street Prophets was its own blog, not a group here, and I intend to spend as much time as possible chatting with him.
