They’re trying to suppress women, to stop the progress we’ve made since medical family planning was made legal. Half the population, who were previously tied to the functions of our bodies were free to have careers and contribute to society like men. It was all settled, in our minds anyway; how could our western society go back to those dark ages? The GOP responded to this question with: “hold my beer”.
Only in recent decades has a lot of previously unknown women’s history come to light: giantesses in medicine, physics, astronomy, art, music & more. Entrepreneurs, historians, and proponents of freeing other women to reach their dreams by being able to decide whether or when to become pregnant and raise children. Without women we would have never landed on the moon.
They are going after all of this progress to achieve a country that will suppress all but one type of religion and one idea of what a family should be. And they will try to wipe the slate of women’s history and progress clean. We will become a lesser nation for this, and we will fight as long as it takes to stop that from happening.
