OMFG. It’s 11am and 85F already. I tried sleeping in the kinda cool computer room this morning, only lasted 2 hours, chair isn’t comfortable enough to sleep in. I may go to a cooling center today. Or, I may fall asleep at the computer. It’s supposed to be over a 100F today. If I don’t reply to your comments today, I’ll get them tomorrow. Public housing needs to confront the idea of installing a/c in units, This is too much.
How are you doing with the heat? And WYFP?
In the Keep Portland Weird dept.- Tonight is Naked Bike Ride night. They always manage to choose the hottest night of year. Link is NSFW. They’re already riding past my window on SE 7th at 146pm. 95F.
In other Portland news — Congressman Earl Blumenauer has a bridge opening in his name tomorrow, Sunday 11-3pm NE 7th Avenue & NE Flanders St. Block Party. It is predicted to be almost 100F. I know Oregonians don’t use umbrellas as a rule. Tomorrow sounds like a good reason to break that rule.
