A frequent contributor to this space made a point today about the seeming lack of outrage as Donald Trump hosts the Saudi butchers’ LIV tournament at his club in Bedminster this weekend. The MBS-inspired gold tour was meant to enhance Saudi Arabia’s reputation after the murder of an American citizen and WAPO reporter, Jamal Khashoggi. Trump forgets that 19 of the terrorists who planned and carried out the attacks on America on 9/11 were Saudis and that Osama bin Laden was a Saudi billionaire with close family ties to Saudi royalty. Here is “bin Trump’s” rationalization for hosting the Saudi-backed tour which is a slap in the face to families who lost a loved one during the 2001 attacks and to the memories of the victims:

Trump discussing “loyalty” in this context is heinous. His lack of loyalty (and patriotism) was evident in the 187 minutes he sat as a voyeur, gleefully egging on a mob that threatened our democracy. That his defense included the millions of blood-soaked Saudi dollars that would be dangled before greedy duffers indicates his real “passion” --a swollen wallet that enhances his rather fat ass.

Frank has a right to be teed off—no pun intended. Here’s hoping his next round will be played in a prison yard with a cellmate as his caddy.
