Republicans love to parse words that this isn't a "machine gun" and isn't a "weapon of war" but frankly I don't give a shit about semantics. I want the shootings to stop and to live in a safer society. More Guns = More mass shootings, more death, more devastation.
This is a very brief diary to share the powerful, sobering video below that is going viral on Twitter this morning. It is a short, worthwhile watch and has a brilliant reveal in it as what is stopping people in their tracks.
Whoever created this display needs an award for creativity and effectiveness.

And let’s all be crystal f*cking clear, the only reason Americans have a “gun problem” is because we have a “Republican problem”. Democrats have been ready, willing, and trying to pass common sense gun safely and gun control legislation at state and national levels to address our mass shooting and gun crisis for decades.
But it is and has always been Republicans who stand in the way of getting anything done about this deadly national crisis. Republicans continue to make a bad situation worse by loosening gun laws and making concealed carry without training or licensing as easy as carrying your wallet in your pocket.
Are guns a problem? Absolutely.
Are Republicans the real problem? 100%.
On a multitude of issues, Republicans have made the United States of America an unsafe place to live, work, raise a family.
It is time to vote out every Republican at every level of government in every state, city, town, court, and school board nationwide. Enough. We have all had enough of all the gun-fetish Republicans.
Everyone, please register to vote. Double-check the status of your voter registration.
Talk to your family, friends, neighbors and let’s VOTE. THEM. ALL. OUT.
