Return of the Sharpie -- Sometimes it's what you DON'T Say, that Says the Most [1]

On January 7th 2021, the former guy took out his black sharpie, and made some “executive edits” to his prepared speech for that day, in the aftermath of the events of the 6th.
The speech was entitled: Remarks on National Healing.
There were some things in that speech however, that chief instigator simply refused to say:

Good afternoon . Nope! I am outraged and sickened by the violence … Nope, not true. I am directing the Department of Justice to ensure all lawbreakers are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law . No way in hell. We must send a clear message — not with mercy, but with JUSTICE . Legal consequences must be swift and firm . Give me a break, we should be giving them medals!
It seems that the “we love you — you’re very special” sentiment, was still very much in vogue, reading between the lines ...
To those who engaged in acts of violence and destruction, I want to be very clear you do not represent me . You do not represent our movement . … Good to see you following my orders. ... To those who engaged in acts of violence and destruction, [deleted] you do not represent our country. And if you broke the law, you belong in jail . you will pay. … My fund-raising sites take checks, money orders and credit cards.
And one last one, just for fun. Although it is likely an omission of the speech-writer, rather than the return of the sharpie:
My campaign vigorously pursued every legal avenue to contest the results. And we lost every one !

Cassidy Hutchinson said this “follow-up” speech was designed to ‘fill in for the void’ in leadership, that the prior day’s speech had left. There were serious rumors of the 25th Amendment being invoked to remove this void from Office. This speech was a last-ditch, desperate attempt to thwart off those congressional rumblings.
Sadly it worked. Sharpie edits, and all.
The GOP bought it, hook, line, and stinker.
