Every article I read about Covid lately tells me the numbers are going up. Perhaps not deaths. But everything else. I keep hearing about more and more people getting the virus. And more people getting it again. And again. And side affects. And more side affects.
I’ve been hearing questions about the boosters. Who can, who should, when, and, wildly, how many, who can, incredibly haven’t.
Every article I read about Covid lately tells me the numbers are going up. People are still dying. Only 300 a day or so? I don’t know. But I have a question. One quick question.
Is anyone still wearing a mask?
I am. My daughters do. My SO does.
But when we go anywhere anymore, we are the ONLY ones with a mask on. It used to be there were a few others. Now there is no one else wearing a mask any place. Rooms full of people. Hallways...
Unless I have to go to the hospital. And even there, I could tell you a few stories…it’s scary.
Have we really lost this battle?
Is it just that so many people have had it now that we as a society have just given up? Is it the peer pressure? It’s pretty intense, I can tell you. Is it really true that those who are still vulnerable are just SOL? Idk. And I don’t know if I want to.
