Biden puzzles: anti-abortion judge, fist bump with Saudi prince, now possible border wall decision [1]

You probably know about how Biden considered appointing a far right anti-abortion lawyer to a federal judgeship but changed his mind a few days ago. You certainly know about the fist-bump seen around the world when President Biden smiled and greeted Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The most recent Biden decision that puzzles me was reported by HUFFPOST here: Biden Administration Plans Could End Border Wall Park Where Loved Ones Interact.

I don’t understand the rationale for these presidential actions. Is President Biden getting bad advice? Are his advisors not doing their jobs? Is he not considering the ramifications of some of his decisions? What do you think?
