With thanks to @CharlesII for the heads up, Dakota Vonn Adams née Stewart appeared on the Tony Michaels Podcast in early June:
On the fragility of Stewart Rhodes:
"Anybody doing any kind of an Oath Keepers thing always had to travel in a convoy because it was a way for him to be in charge of a thing."
On the ego of Stewart Rhodes:
"Stewart would revel in the attention, I think, of being in the inner circle and close to Trump. He wanted to position himself basically as far from personal harm as possible within his overall fantasy..."
On the motive of Stewart Rhodes:
According to Dakota, the original pre-2016 election Oath Keepers plan - out of some vague anti-authority principle - was to be a 'check and balance' on Trump if he won. However, Stewart's self-interest and paranoia about being arrested by a Democratic administration for his role at Bundy ranch made of him a soft touch when approached by the Trump people.
There is a whole bunch more here to explore. Dakota is as engaging and articulate in person as he is in print. I do hope he stays in the public eye.
