It's a hoax till you get a lawyer

Jim Jordan, as we know, is an expert on suppressing sexual abuse. That's why the party that calls itself Republican made him ranking minority member of the House Judiciary Committee. But I digress.

The question today is why anyone is surprised Jim Jordan kept accusing a 10-year-old Ohio rape victim of perpetrating a hoax. A victim denied an emergency abortion in her home state because originalism-and-federalism-and-personhood.

Jordan kept accusing the victim, at any rate, until Gershon Fuentes confessed in court, as reported by the BBC. Now Jim Jordan's keeping shtum. What a great American. Don't we all wish we were just like him?
