Good morning, Cafe!
Over the weekend, I spent some quality time catching up on tv stuff. Shocking, I know. 😆 Two things stood out for me, one was fun, the other...I still don’t know.
Have a cuppa and grab a nosh...and I’ll fill you in.
First, the fun...Comet Network is showing Buffy The Vampire Slayer, two episodes every weeknight. On Sunday, they did a marathon of Buffy’s Best Battles. I haven’t seen the series in years, so it was great fun. Who doesn’t like a good slayfest every now and again? It has held up well, over time. Better than many other series from the late 90s in fact.
The other….HBO showed a documentary, The Anarchists, about Anarchapulco. Anarchists living in Acapulco. No, seriously. I got through part of it, but yelled “Bullshit!!” at the tv so many times, poor Shadow thought I was having a sneezing fit! 🤣🤣🤣 You know how some people take a single class on any subject, and suddenly they’re an expert? Yeah. Seems someone once took a poli-sci class and decided they knew all about all political systems and what anarchy was and could do. To say I disagreed with their positions is an understatement. “We’re anarchists!! Oh, honey, the mail is late.” 😒😒😒😒
Let’s just say I’d have spent my time better if I had binged on Sons Of Anarchy (about a motorcycle club in CA).
So. What else do I have to share?
