Senators Sinema and Collins are pro-choice

We can take the Supreme Court back, with the right deal. Did you guys know that it is not necessary to be a lawyer to be on the Supreme Court. According to the Supreme Court website, a Justice does not have to be a lawyer or a law school graduate. So basically, Biden can strike a deal with Sinema and Collins to have themselves be nominated to the Supreme Court. Obviously, this would look like a partisan move, appointing non-lawyers; however, the majority of the country already realizes that the SC is controlled by right wing partisan hacks. This is the only way to force the SC to follow the democratic will of the country. Having been in the Senate for a sufficient time, Sinema and Collins have enough knowledge of the law, with assistance of their law clerks, to render judgement on issues pending before the court.

And to get themselves on the court, Sinema and Collins would have to first help us nuke the filibuster and expand the court. Some Democrats are still reluctant to nuke the filibuster because of fears of what will happen when Republicans retake the Senate. There is a solution for this; immediately after nuking the filibuster, we would have to admit DC, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands (solidly Dem). We would also have to split some large Dem states like Cali and NY in such a way to get more Dem Senators. We can split states with their legislature and Congress approving.

As part of a comprehensive deal, after Sinema and Collins have helped us to nuke the filibuster, they should also pass the For the People Act, admit and/or split as many Dem states as possible, enough to keep the fascists from EVER retaking the Senate, and expand the House to make it more democratic. Admitting these three territories as states would likely give us 5-6 more Democratic Senators. Splitting California into three states and NY into two states could give us 6 more D Senators. So even with the filibuster gone, Republicans would be much less likely to be able to take back the Senate and pass anything. And finally regarding the Court, Biden should strike a deal to appoint Sinema and Collins and at least two other appointees, to make it at least 13 Justices total, 6 right wingers, 5 solid liberals, and then these two together will have all the power to shape law in the country for the rest of their lives, being in the middle. Sinema and Collins are both pro-choice and their SC nominations would be a net positive for us. This will give them more much more power than their Senate seats currently and I feel they will take this deal. It is a much better deal for them than trying to run for reelection again. We need to do this now, while the House is still in our hands. We will lose a Dem seat in AZ, but gain one in Maine since the Maine governor, Janet Mills(D), will name Collins replacement, keeping the Senate in our hands, at least until the election. This is not a power grab; the vast majority of the country are pro gun control, pro-choice, and pro universal healthcare, but have no ability to hold a national referendum to express their will. Our corrupt Republican legislators have been bought out by the corporations and this is the only way for the will of the people to be translated to law.
