Hiya everyone, how was your weekend?

I visited the Oakland Zoo for the first time with my niece who's a member. They have a lot of rescued animals and do a lot of conservation work so it's better than some. I came face to face with a California condor, that was pretty cool.

The zoo is spread across steep wooded canyons in the Oakland hills. It's very nice to walk around up there. Afterwards we went to a golf course where my niece's fiance tends bar and he rustled me up a flight of IPAs from their brewery. I can't speak for the golf course but the beer's good and so's the food. They have a little garden where the salad came from, deelish heirloom tomatoes.

Yesterday I went to a concert at Stern Grove to hear Molly Tuttle opening for Old Crow Medicine Show. I like Molly Tuttle a lot and I liked this song from her new album a lot. The band was great. Old Crow Medicine Show was okay too, very high energy — more than I was feeling tbh.
