"DON'T MAKE ME USE MY TEACHER VOICE" Protesters in Uvalde brave 106 degree heat to demand transparency.

Not much to add that I didn't say in my other diary from today, except that these Uvalde residents say it all better here anyway, and with greater authority and clarity. (please check out my other diary, it is a corker)

Their message is simple: CUT THE CRAP. RUN THE REPLAY.

In an open records state where they PAID for every second of this ongoing tragedy to be videotaped, by the school, by dozens of officers with body cam, by 911, by dispatch, they want the REAL goods delivered NOW. They are tired of lies, lies of omission, spin, glad-handing, NDAs, stalling, and downright BULLSH*T. No more “reports,” no more ”limited hangout.” No more finger pointing in circles, no more passing the buck and waiting for investigations, no more loopholes and dodges. The stalling for 77 minutes was more than enough for anyone to bear. NO MORE STALLING. No more misdirection and convenient low level scapegoats.

Those in authority have no credibility to investigate those in authority.

21 innocent people from their community are dead and no one seemingly lifted a finger to effectively help them when seconds counted.

Then they were lied to time and time again, and all they want is some truth. Give them some truth.
