HI. Okay. I apologize for using the word P***y. And, a bit about me and Poland, and Ukraine. [1]

Hi everyone,

I really appreciate people reading my posts. I really do, it means a lot to me.

Recently I wrote a diary or whatever it is called and used a word that people think is offensive. So, I ask forgiveness and will not use it again.

But I will say, if you guys used all the energy you used to fight my using that word against the GOP, we would be winners.

Anyway, I did mention some things about myself. In case anyone is interested, I am an American who is from California. I have a kind of crazy history, which includes being in the U.S. Army and National Guard. I will recite my history a little here.

After leaving active duty U.S. Army as a Licensed Practical Nurse, I worked as a registered nurse for the VA as my career, and retired in 2019. In 2017, I bought a house in Mexico. I then moved to Poland in 2020 to see if I wanted to retire there.

I lived there in Poland for two years. When war broke out in Ukraine in February, I left my apartment (and gave it to a Ukrainian family fleeing the war) and headed by Blablacar to the Ukraine border with the intent to join the new International Legion.

That is an entire story. The day I went to the Ukrainian base where new International Legion recruits were being integrated and trained, I chose not to join, and rather to join an independent militia.

14 hours later, that base got bombed, by missiles I believe came from Belarus. 35 or so people were killed, and over 100 wounded. I do not know if I would have been killed or wounded.

I spent the the rest of March and almost all of April in Ukraine, working with a unit I will not mention its name. I met some amazing people. I stayed on a home guard base about two hours north of Mariupol. I ended up leaving because my unit was about to go to the front, and I did poorly in physical performance. I did not want to be someone who killed my buddies because I was not in shape.

So, I left, but I still have invitations to join the International Legion as well as medevac unit in the East.

After I left Ukraine, I went back to Poland for a minute, then went to Colombia because I have a friend there, and thought I would get in shape there to return to Ukraine.

Things did not work out. I then went back to the USA, back to Colombia, and then finally back to Mexico, where I am now, south of Guadalajara, at my house.

I am leaving Mexico, where I am a permanent resident, to go back to Europe. I will stay at a friend’s house in Serbia as I prepare my military and medical skills to hopefully go back to Ukraine.

I love Ukraine. I lived in Poland for 2 years and loved it. I visited Ukraine...Odessa, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Kyiv, others.

I may not agree with everyone here, but I will agree to always have respect and never use words that may be hurtful, regardless of how I may think they are harmless. I hope you read my thoughts here down the road.

I was a union representative for a VA on the West Coast. I have been in congressional offices fighting for workers’ rights. I have a relative in NATO who may be able to place me in Ukraine or somewhere else.

I really want to see the US return to a secular, pluralistic society, and stat. I am trying to figure out the best way to be of help.
