Hello, everyone! This is going to be a very short, short diary on a voter registration drive that is going to start soon this week! I figured this is going to be more effective than writing on a comment section, so hoping that I tagged this right, and maybe its redundant but who cares?! Here I go:



Today, I just got off of a virtual meeting with Defend Democracy Project hosted by Women’s March Foundation. You can find out more about this project on the link I will provide below.

This group is going to be doing a drive for voter registration starting on July 12th in the state of Kansas! I do want to inform that if you do live in Kansas or know people, you can still register to vote there now before the deadline is passed! They will inform voters to vote NO on the ballot on amending their state constitution to ROLL BACK reproductive rights in their state (originalist BS in summary). Also check out the ballotpedia link I will provide too!

So in summary!

1. July 12th is last day to register to vote in Kansas. Check and double check your status!

2. This Voter Registration Drive is going to ask voters to vote NO come August 2nd!

That’s it! Without signing up for mobilize.us back then on a date I cannot remember, I would not have known about this myself. So now that I know a little bit more about text banking and phone banking, I will need to next decide by the 12th if this is the right way for me to volunteer or if another path exists where I can contribute.

And who knows? I may write another Voter Registration Drive Awareness diary depending on how well it does. If not? At least I tried, because what else but to try?
