Retired General Don Bolduc’s U.S. Senate campaign is announcing its fundraising haul for the second quarter of 2022.The campaign tells News 9 it raised “just around $85,000.”In a statement, Bolduc campaign spokesperson Jimmy Thompson said the candidate will continue to focus on grassroots conservative events and indicated the campaign believes the necessary donations to run a viable campaign will come if Bolduc wins the nomination."Like many other successful New Hampshire candidates from the past, General Bolduc is running a true grassroots campaign focused on town hall meetings and retail gatherings,” Thompson said. “With the strongest conservative grassroots support, the General remains well positioned to win September’s primary, which will result in an uptick in fundraising that will allow him to take the fight to Senator Hassan. President Biden’s 36% approval rating in New Hampshire is creating a political undertow for Senator Hassan that no amount of money can overcome." Bolduc’s Q2 figure is less than the campaign raised in the first three months of the year.The campaign did not provide information about how much cash it currently has on hand heading into the final two months of the primary contest.
