Hawk Mountain is a sanctuary in eastern Pennsylvania. Since it lies on the primary migration route for raptors and other birds, it is a site for research and for census counts. It’s also near the Appalachian Trail and is a great place for an afternoon hike.
Some photos from a visit.
For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit. I am currently in Pennsylvania.
