Let’s watch this brilliant blazing brutal takedown and send-off (he uses a different term) of Boris Johnson by the incomparable Jonathan Pie. One might call it on this site a righteous rant.
Has some salty language, but not too salty for our members.
I can’t find a transcript but here are a few snippets —
Johnson has resigned but he hasn't f’d off. A Shakespearean tragedy written by monkeys on typewriters. Not so much reshuffling deck chairs on the titanic, more like reshuffling catshit on the litter-tray. Every marriage Boris has had has ended when he f’d someone else and get them pregnant. These noble cabinet ministers all falling on their swords, these are the f’ers that enabled Boris to be there in the first place.
Come to think of it, you can replace the words “Boris Johnson” by “donald trump” and much of the commentary will apply very well to TFG. Although unlike Johnson’s cabinet, trump’s cabinet and enablers never had the guts to speak against him, let alone quit.
