Pappas raises record $670K in second quarter [1]

U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas, D-New Hampshire, is keeping his financial war chest well-stocked in his bid for a third term in Congress.The Pappas campaign announced Thursday it gathered more than $670,000 in the second quarter, a record for New Hampshire congressional candidates in the April-June time period.A campaign spokesperson said Pappas once again received contributions from supporters in all 75 towns in the 1st District."I am encouraged to earn the support from Democrats, Republicans and independents who know I will always fight for the people of New Hampshire and put them first," Pappas said in a written statement. "We don't accept any donations from corporate PACs. Instead, our campaign is powered by supporters in all 75 towns across the district."The Pappas campaign said it has more than $2.2 million cash on hand heading into the final months of the campaign.
