Vikram Mansharamani is first out of the gate among Republican U.S. Senate contenders to announce his fundraising numbers for the 2nd quarter of 2022.The Lincoln entrepreneur and political outsider making his first run for public office is announcing a Q2 haul of $830,000.“Since I announced that I was running at the end of April, I have been humbled by the support I am receiving. Granite Staters know we need to send a businessman to Washington, D.C., to clean up this mess,” said Mansharamani. “In just over two months, we have raised a remarkable amount of money. Our campaign is picking up momentum and the pace is accelerating.”Mansharamani’s haul includes a personal contribution of what the campaign describes as “just over $250,000.”The campaign says this is the strongest initial fundraising quarter among any of the candidates in the race, save Bruce Fenton, the cryptocurrency pioneer who is self-funding his campaign.According to a spokesman, Mansharamani’s campaign currently has $789,000 in cash on hand.
