Bug, or feature?
Everything down below fixed itself when I cleared cookies for Daily Kos. It wasn’t a bug.
Sometime last night, after about 10 pm CST, I started having trouble clearing the little orange “unread” circles on comments I was reading. This having happened several times over the last year, I didn’t worry about it. Normally, it has cleared itself within half an hour or so, and whatever was causing it disappears. This morning, it was still there, and it continues now.
Secondly, I’ve been noticing that when I recommend a comment, the “0 Recommend” notice changes to “Recommending...” and sticks there until I either close the page or refresh it two or three times. The Recommend goes through in any case, but it’s a strange thing to see…
And third, about an hour ago I opened a diary with a YouTube video in the body — or what should have been one, but which was simply a link saying “YouTube”.
Leaving the diary up because someone else may have the same problem. And thanks, everybody who chimed in, Especially Elwood Dowd who is usually right, and Bakeneko, who told me so early on.
