Trusting the DoJ to Indict #45 Could Lead to Disappointment (We've been here before) [1]

July 5, 5:41 — A sick, creeping sense of deja vu has overwhelmed me in recent days as the American right wing continues to reek havoc on society. This deja vu involves the Department of Justice and it's inability to play that part when it comes to holding the powerful accountable for their crimes.
Yesterday another Drumpf-loving young fascist slaughtered 6 innocent people and several more when he fired dozens of AR-15 rounds at a July 4thparade in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park. Days earlier Jayland Walker, a young man from Akron, Ohio, was fired upon 90 times by Akron police alone, getting hit over 60 times for fleeing a traffic stop. After killing him, officers handcuffed his body; And in the last week the U.S. court formerly known as supreme proved its illegitimacy by declaring women livestock and their wombs property of the state and rapists. The court had earlier declared that the almighty gun should have more rights than women; another of that court's decisions prevents the agency that protects our environment from protecting our environment.
Once upon a war on terror I had hoped that I would see #43 and members of his administration do the perp walk for lying the United States into not one but two wars,in Iraq and Afghanistan respectively. I had hoped the incoming #44would have the courage to be a voice for the innocent victims of the U.S. military-industrial complex's blood lust for endless war. I had hoped he would make one of his captivating speeches in defense of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and enable impeachment hearings against his predecessor. That fantasy was squashed once Speaker Pelosi announced that “impeachment is off the table,' to herald #44's first moments in office. I had hoped to see Rove, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Powell, Tenet, Wolfovich, Gonzalez and the whole lot of liars who fabricated the pretexts for war on the Iraqi and Afghan people marched, heads covered by suit jackets and blazers, hands cuffed in front or back, some being dragged, fighting their ultimate fate behind bars. But it was not to be.
U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland exudes the vibe that he'd rather be doing anything else than have this important moment before him, because as of now there is already plenty of evidence highlighted by the U.S. House Select Committee on the January 6th '21 coup attempt by 45's supporters to indict him and members of his administration. Hence I don't trust the Department of Justice to correctly prosecute insurrectionist-in-chief #45 for the Jan. 6th attack on U.S. democracy, nor trust them to properly weed the fascists and white terrorist sympathizers holding badges and guns in multiple police departments nationwide. For decades the feds practiced a doctrine of anti-Blackness – COINTELPRO – that was aligned very much with the anti-Black dogmas of America's right-wing terrorists.
The DOJ, FBI, DEA, and all their acronym'd brood have historically targeted BIPOC people as criminals while providing cover for our nation's nazi recruitment efforts, as well as covering the existence of organized crime. Thus we have been under a government that for eight decades since the end of World War II has enabled thousands of nazi war criminals and nazi collaborators to immigrate, live, work and spread their ideology herein America.
America's Nazi Secret: An Insider's History of How the United States Department of Justice Obstructed Congress by: Blocking Congressional Investigations into Famous American Families Who Funded Hitler, Stalin and Arab Terrorists; Lying to Congress, the GAO, and the CIA about the Postwar Immigration of Eastern European Nazi War Criminals to the US; and Concealing from The 9/11 Investigators the Role of the Arab Nazi War Criminals in Recruiting Modern Middle Eastern Terrorist Groups, 2010, by John Loftus, is another reason. In addition to possessing the longest, most in depth subtitle of any book in my memory, it fingers the DoJ's own historic criminality by covering for the U.S.-nazi alliance. (The CIA is no innocent, I assume Loftus’ book had to be cleared through the agency. One of my critiques of the work is the apparent apologetic for the CIA throughout the text)
The subtitle is a mouthful but it illustrates that the DoJ has long been familiar with the spread and influence of nazi and fascist ideology throughout the country, yet made Black, Brown, and Native persons the primary targets of their criminal justice system, as well as activists for social justice, civil, human and labor rights.
By covering-up the presence of nazis and and the multitudes of their collaborators, the DoJ has played a large role in enabling the psychotic, violent white-nationalist culture we are contending with today, like the good Germans of 1930's Germany. Allegedly, the DOJ is watching the House Select Committee's Jan. 6thhearings closely....still...after 6 damning hearings full of revealing testimony from #45s Republican insiders about the deranged oval office resident who tried to overturn the results of a presidential election by any means necessary, violence encouraged.
