Steven Dennis, reporter for Bloomberg News, reports the price of gasoline has taken a sudden drop today.

The price of a barrel of West Texas Intermediate crude has also dropped from $109 to just above $98 in today’s trading.

A long term drop in gasoline prices should reduce inflation and improve the economic mood of the US as we head into the fall elections.

Joe Biden has gotten much blame for inflation and oil prices despite his having few tools to deal with them.
